Michael Thomas
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael Thomas has served as President and CEO of VME since 1998. Under his watch, VME has grown from a small fabrication company in Tyler, Texas into a multi-national complete Process Engineering company with offices in the USA, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
Mr. Thomas received his BS from Colorado School of Mines in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering. Most of his work experience is in the Houston area where he worked as Senior Process Engineer and in Management before joining VME as Vice-President of Engineering.
He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and serves on the board of directors for VME Asia Pacific Pte Ltd , VME Technical Services Sdn Bhd, and PT VME Process. |

Kuoh H. Lee
Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of Business Development
Kuoh joined VME in 2003 as Vice-President of Business Development. Before coming on board with VME, he worked as a Process Engineer both in the US and Malaysia.
Mr. Lee received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has worked in the industry as both a Project Manager and Senior Process Engineer.
He serves on the board of directors for VME Asia Pacific Pte Ltd , VME Technical Services Sdn Bhd, and PT VME Process. |

Daniel Johnstone
Managing Director, Americas
Daniel joined VME Process in 2004 as a Project Manager, providing oversight and expertise for fabrication in Indonesia. Since then his responsibilities have expanded in his new role as Managing Director, Americas. Daniel also serves as General Manager of our Corporate Offices in Tyler, Texas.
Daniel graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Tertiary in Australia in 1998 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration & Management. He has experience in Project Management, Process Engineering and Fabrication. Mr. Johnstone brings extensive experience in southeast Asia to the VME team, having worked in Indonesia for many years.
He serves on the Board of Directors of VME Technical Services Sdn Bhd, and PT VME Process. |

Jonathan Jonis
Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Jonathan joined VME in early 2008 as the General Manager of the Malaysian operation. Since then his responsibilities have expanded to include our Singapore and Indonesian facilities. He served as CEO of a multinational engineering and fabrication company based in Singapore for six years.
Jonathan graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1992 in the USA with a Mechanical Engineering degree and Economics minor. He entered the oil and gas industry as a Design Engineer and has served in leadership positions in sales, operations, and management.
Mr. Jonis serves on the board of directors for VME Asia Pacific Pte Ltd , VME Technical Services Sdn Bhd, and PT VME Process. |

N.Sivaram
Director of Operations, Asia Pacific
Mr. Sivaram joined VME in July 2008 as Director of Operations, Asia Pacific based in Singapore. Prior to joining VME, Siva was Director of Projects and Supply Chain for a Singapore based multinational EPC company dealing with FPSO Topsides and Gas compression modules.
He set up VME’s operations in Singapore and was instrumental in setting up VME’s fabrication facilities in Batam, for which he is the General Manager in charge of the day-to-day operations.
Mr. Sivaram holds a bachelor degree in chemical engineering from the Annamalai University in India and has been in project operations for over 20 years. |
