History

VME was founded and incorporated in 1985, under the name VME Fabricators, to design and manufacture small packaged equipment and custom products for the oil and petrochemical industries.
The company enjoyed immediate success and gained recognition in the international oil and gas industries for its custom-designed internals. VME then extended its separation products into other industries, such as pulp and paper, gas processing, steam production, water treatment, and petroleum refining.
In 2002, the company became VME Process, Inc., with a clear focus on supplying complete process systems. VME Process continued supplying both onshore and offshore customers while specializing in the supply of complete FPSO topside modules.
VME Process Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. was formed in 2004. In the year of 2005, the first international office was opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the name VME Technical Services to expand our project and engineering services.
In June 2009, PT. VME Process held its Grand Opening in Batam, Indonesia, ushering in the ability for the VME Group to be a turnkey supplier of complete process systems worldwide. With a 100 meter waterfront jetty and capabilities to fabricate modules up to 2000 metric tons, VME Process can fabricate and deliver up to 15 complete modules a year from this newest facility.
